On the 16th of December the Dreams AI team came together to celebrate the end of the year with our annual Christmas dinner.
This year we swapped the office for a beautifully decorated marquee, strung with fairy lights and greenery and filled with Christmas trees. Partners, families and even a few of our youngest guests joined us, which made for a warm and lively evening.
Looking back on 2023
Between courses we took a moment to look back on the year. 2023 was a big one for us. The team grew, we took on more ambitious projects than ever, and colleagues across our offices worked together more closely than before. The speeches celebrated the people behind that work: the late nights before deadlines, the patience of reviewing each other's code, and the willingness to jump in and help wherever it was needed.
“The best thing we build at Dreams AI is the team itself.”
Jumpers, crackers and cheer
No Dreams AI Christmas would be complete without a few questionable festive jumpers, and this year did not disappoint. Crackers were pulled, paper hats were worn with varying degrees of dignity, and some truly terrible cracker jokes were read aloud to the whole table.
The food was excellent, the conversation went late into the evening, and for a few hours nobody mentioned a single bug ticket.
Here's to 2024
A huge thank you to everyone who organised the evening, and to every member of the team for an incredible year. We are heading into 2024 with a lot of exciting work ahead, and we could not ask for a better group of people to do it with.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from all of us at Dreams AI!
